Hi, I’m Crimson! ❤️

I’m an 8-year-old tan Dachshund with a heart full of love and a very important job… making sure my humans are never out of sight! I’m what they call a Velcro dog, which means if you’re looking for a loyal little shadow, I’m your guy.

I’m incredibly affectionate and absolutely adore being with my people. Food is the way to my heart (treats? Yes please!), although I haven’t quite figured out what toys are all about yet. Maybe you can teach me!

I can be a little protective of my home and family, but don’t worry – I’m all bark and no bite. I’ll happily let everyone know someone’s at the gate, then leave the hard work to you.

One thing you should know about me is that I don’t enjoy being left alone for long periods. I’d be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the day so we can keep each other company. If you work from home or you’re retired, I think we’d make the perfect team.

I’m also quite the clever little escape artist, so I’ll need a secure garden and a family who’ll keep an eye on my sneaky adventures!

I haven’t been tested with cats while in foster care, but I’m told I had a feline friend in my previous home, so I may be happy to share my space with a cat again.
