Surrendering a Dachshund

We take in Dachshunds, Dachshund crosses and other small breed dogs that are in need of a new home and place them temporarily with suitable foster families. This ensures that our foster dogs receive personal love and attention until they are placed in a permanent home.

If you need to surrender your Dachshund, Dachshund cross or other small breed to Cape Dachshund Rescue, please fill out the online form below. Alternatively, download the form, complete as comprehensively as possible and email it to cdradoptions@gmail.com along with a clear image of the dog/s.

By submitting this application form I agree to surrender the above- mentioned dog to Cape Dachshund Rescue unconditionally and will have no further claim on the dog whatsoever. I understand that I cannot expect updates about the dog once he/she has been surrendered to Cape Dachshund Rescue. I accept that I will not be entitled to receive the new owner's contact details.
